This class HT hopper is from a 400-car series delivered to the Santa Fe in Dec., 1976. It was photographed loading ore in Butte, Mt., July, 1998. The 'Mile High' district produced copper, silver, gold, zinc and manganese. 205 cars were still in service in the 2001 ORER.
